PTDI left one plane NC212i Thailand order in year-end
JAKARTA-PT Dirgantara Indonesia (PTDI) will deliver the remainder of one aircraft unit from the procurement contract of two NC212i aircraft to Thailand at the end of the year 2019. Director of Commerce PTDI, Ade Yuyu Wahyuna explained, delivery of one aircraft unit of NC212i for the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) of Thailand has been conducted.

The signing of a procurement contract of two NC212i aircraft units was implemented on 17 March 2017 between PTDI and A.I.C.E. Enterprises (Thai) Co., Ltd. With end user being the Department of the Rain Making and Agricultural Aviation, Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) Thailand.
This NC212i aircraft can be used as passenger transport, VIP, cargo, rain making, troop/paratroop transport and medical evacuation that can be installed in turn in accordance with the operational needs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperative ( MOAC) Thailand. "The NC212i aircraft has been fully undertaken by PTDI, meaning PTDI is the only aircraft industry in the world that currently manufactures NC212i aircraft," he explained.
Further brighter he, PTDI has been successfully dispatching aircraft and helicopters, both domestic and overseas, as many as 443 units. PTDI has managed to produce NC212 aircraft as many as 114 units for domestic and overseas, from a total of 585 units of NC212 series aircraft population in the world.
The domestic operator who uses NC212 series aircraft is TNI AU, TNI AD, TNI AL, police, BPPT, where the NC212 series aircraft is used for civilian transport aircraft, military and Maritime Surveillance Aircraft (MSA). While the foreign operators were Thai countries for military transport aircraft and weather modifications (rain making), the Philippines and Vietnam for military transport aircraft.

PTDI will increase the production capacity of NC212i aircraft, which was originally 4 aircraft per year, to 6 aircraft per year, which will begin next year to meet the target needs of NC212i over the next 10 years.
The NC212i is a new generation multi-purpose aircraft from NC212 with a capacity of 28 passengers, has a ramp door, a large class cab, a more modern navigation and communication system, a lower operating cost but still competitive in Market.
