Honourable Discharge and Appointment of Two New PTDI Directors

Jakarta, June 19, 2019 - Public Relations of PTDI

Located on the 6th floor of the Ministry of BUMN Office, at Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan No. 13, Central Jakarta, the submission of a copy of the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises as the General Meeting of Shareholders of PT Dirgantara Indonesia Company Number: SK-138 / MBU / 06/2019, concerning about Honourable Discharge and Appointment of Members of the Company's Board of Directors (Persero) PT. Dirgantara Indonesia. The event was opened by the Ministry of BUMN's Deputy for Mining, Strategic Industry and Media, Fajar Harry Sampurno, attended by the Directors and Commissioners of PTDI and also with the Acting Chief Executive of the Ministry of BUMN.

Through this submission of a copy of this decree, Minister of the Republic of Indonesia State-Owned Enterprises, Rini Msoemarno as the General Meeting of Shareholders of the Company (Persero) of PT Dirgantara Indonesia appointed Muhammad Ridlo Akbar as avl Production Director of PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) replacing Arie Wibowo, whose term of office has expired for 1 period.

The minister of BUMN, Rini M Soemarno also appointed Ade Yuyu Wahyuna as the Director of Commerce at PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero) replacing Irzal Rinaldi Zailani.

Muhammad Ridlo Akbar who was appointed as the Production Director of PTDI was the youngest director at PTDI, included in the category of generation Y who had an Aeronautical Engineering background from the Politeknik Negeri Bandung and Mechanical Engineering from the Universitas Jenderal Ahmad Yani, with his last position as the Head of PTDI's Manufacturing Engineering Division.

Ade Yuyu Wahyuna who was appointed as the Commercial Director of PTDI has experienced in Business Development, Marketing and Sales with his last position as the Corporate Secretary of PTDI.

This leadership change is an effort in structuring the composition of the Company's Board of Directors which is also related to the refreshment and regeneration of the company. PTDI expressed its gratitude for the dedication and contributions that have been given while serving as Directors. Hopefully, the new members of the Board of Directors can carry out their duties in supporting the Company's progress

About PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero)

PTDI is a state-owned enterprise established in 1976, located in Bandung, Indonesia. The main products that produced are aircraft, aircraft structural components, aircraft maintenance services and engineering services. PTDI is capable of producing CN235 aircraft types that are equipped with configurable missions including: transport, cargo, paratroop, medevac, maritime patrol and even VIP.

Moreover, PTDI is also capable of producing NC212i aircraft which can also be equipped with various missions to order, including: military transport, artificial rain, maritime patrol, navtrain, including medevac. PTDI has also been able to produce aircraft that are the result of industrial cooperation including: CN 295 with Airbus Defense & Space (ADS), and helicopters with Airbus Helicopters both based in France and in Germany in various types, and the Bell Helicopter Textron in several variants.PTDI cooperated with LAPAN who had successfully built the N219 aircraft and conducted the first flight test of the N219 aircraft on August 16, 2017. The N219 aircraft is a passenger aircraft with a capacity of 19 people with two turboprop engines which referred to CASR Part 23 regulations.

N219 aircraft design process since testing, certification, until the production process series is domestic-made. The N219 aircraft has ability to take off on a short runway which is not prepared so that it will support the connectivity of inter-island especially in the Pioneer area.
